Introduction to Yoga

In this session you gain an understanding of the key Yoga postures and Meditation.


Yoga has many benefits including improved strength, flexibility, and Strength.


Yoga also helps improve your mental health by increasing your level of self-awareness.


In the session Ian will demonstrate the posture and we will also go through everything together. There will be opportunities to ask question throughout.


Our bodies are different and sometimes this means postures need to be adapted. This session will allow for you to try and if it does not feel quite right, I can provide an alternative.

In these classes Ian combines elements of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga to create a rounded yoga practice. You will leave the class feel calm and energised after going through a sequence of postures that flow from one to the other. Ian uses a range to props including blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters to enable everyone to experience each posture in accordance with their body type and age.

Tuesday Gentle Yoga & Coffee morning 10:00 - 11:00am

Suitable for beginners.

This is gentle yoga class suitable for those who prefer a less strenuous class or those that have some physical limitations.

In these classes Ian combines elements of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga to create a rounded yoga practice. You will leave the class feel calm and energised after going through a sequence of postures that flow from one to the other. Ian uses a range to props including blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters to enable everyone to experience each posture in accordance with their body type and age.

Gong and Sound bath

Take yourself on a journey of deep relaxation. Calm the body and the mind with the soothing sounds and vibration of Tibetan and Crystal bowls, Gong, Tuned pipes, Happi drum, thunder box and chimes.

Deep relaxation encourages the body to heal and the mind to be still. Often tension in the body is reflected in the mind and vice versa, in some circumstances this can lead to a never ending loop of stress, anxiety and ill health. A sound bath can provide an opportunity to allow the body and mind to be still and reset.

There is a limited number of Yoga mats, blankets and bolsters available. Please feel free to bring your own with you.

Tranquility - Restorative Yoga & Relaxation

Finish your week with gentle movement and relaxation. This session will help you release tension, calm the nervous system and allow you totally unwind.


This session will include meditation, gentle movement, supported relaxation postures and the use of sound therapy instruments.

Yoga mat, blanket and bolsters will be provided.

Ian creates a dreamy atmosphere with ceiling projectors that make you feel like you are drifting through space, in addition they use an aromatherapy diffuser with a calming and cleansing mix.


Ian gently guides you through each posture taking you on a journey that soothes the body and calms the mind. Ian also incorporates reading, drumming and other mesmerizing instruments that enhance the experience through sound and vibration.

In Restorative yoga all postures are fully supported with blankets, blocks and bolsters ensuring your comfort, whilst your body gently relaxes. Restorative yoga balances the nervous system and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system. This can help to improve sleep and reduce the likelihood of depression and anxiety.

Guided Meditation & Cacao

This session is an opportunity for stillness and focus. We will start with a Yoga Nidra relaxation, this will detach you from your busy life and leave you feeling rested and alert. We will then move onto a guided meditation; each session will have a different self-care themed mediation with affirmations. The session will close with a tasty medicinal cacao, we will use the process of consuming the cacao to embed positive affirmations from the guided meditation.

A cacao ceremony is when cacao is consumed with mindfulness and intention. Ceremonies can be done either alone or in groups. When done alone, you connect deeply to yourself and harness your inner power.

Cacoa will be mixed with dairy milk, oat milk is available on request.

All equipment is provided, this session is suitable for beginners.
